A real-time FFT spectrum analyser that lives on your MacBook Pro Touch Bar. 14 visualizer modes, 8 colour themes, system audio captured with no virtual driver needed.
Download Beta — FreeEvery frame rendered at 60 fps, directly on 30 pt of Touch Bar canvas. No menus, no windows — just pure signal, visualized.
4096-point vDSP FFT at a 512-sample hop. ~10 ms latency at 48 kHz. The bar chart doesn't guess — it measures.
Bars, Flame, Mirror, Plasma, Rain, Scope, Mountain, Dots and more — swap modes instantly from the menu bar Preferences panel.
Captures whatever is playing via ScreenCaptureKit — no BlackHole, no loopback app, no virtual audio device required.
Classic, Ocean, Sunset, Forest, Fire, Rainbow, Ice, Purple Rain — or enable Auto Hue for continuously cycling triadic colours.
Each mode is a distinct SpriteKit scene — GPU-rendered at 60 fps on the main thread with smooth attack and decay per band.
Pick a preset or let Auto Hue cycle triadic colour pairs in real time — the bar never looks the same twice.
From install to a live spectrum on your Touch Bar in under 60 seconds.
Open the DMG, drag XPTouchbar into Applications, and launch. A waveform icon appears in your menu bar — no Dock icon.
macOS will prompt you once. Head to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording and enable XPTouchbar.
Click the menu bar icon, open Preferences, and pick any of 14 visualizer modes and 8 colour presets — or turn on Auto Hue and let it cycle.
Hit play on any audio. The spectrum blooms across your Touch Bar in real time — reacting to every beat, note, and transient as it happens.
